Back in 1950 a special Battle of Britain flight was held with 1000 aircraft involved.
Many of them were Lincoln bombers and I was in one of them.
Do you have any photographs of that event?
There is a possibility photographs of the flight were taken by newspaper photographers.
I would be interested in getting a photographs and even a newspaper clipping.
Yes I am ex RAF 1949 – 1958. England – Egypt – Cyprus. Bomber Command – Fighter Command – Air Sea Rescue.

I’ve tried everywhere I can think of but can’t see anything that sounds like what you’re looking for. I think your best bet would be to contact some of the bigger newspapers from the period, they might not have the files in their digital photo catalogues online…. It’s a long shot, but it’s all I can think of short of contacting the memorial flight themselves, which I assume you’ve tried.
Good luck!
